Summer Reading 2020:

Reading for the summer of COVID-19

undefined“Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.”  Mason Cooley

The April 2020 book industry survey revealed that Canadians have been reading 58% more during Covid19. As we face a staycation summer, reading will likely remain as a favoured activity. I share with you books I'm looking forward to reading over the summer. This year I'm committed to reading young and emerging authors, writers new to me. There is nothing like reading another book from a well-established writer who continues to surprise and delight, so I have included a short list of those old-friends. The pandemic has shaken what we know as normal, so I encourage you to embrace reading with the same openness to change and pick up a book by an author new to you.

Have a safe and relaxing summer.
