COVID-19: Updates on Camosun Library - Learning Services and Operations

The health and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and library employees is always the top priority of Camosun College Library, and as such, we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. In this ever evolving scenario things will continue to happen quickly. We acknowledge that an unpredictable environment brings hardships to everyone in our community.

The library is committed to assisting you.

  • AskAway virtual reference - Camosun Librarians will be covering additional shifts
  • Library classes - connect with a librarian by using our online request form (delivery formats may vary)
  • Books by Mail service - borrow up to 5 items at a time and they will be mailed to you
  • Writing Centre help can be accessed through Camosun's online booking system or Write Away
  • Both Interurban and Lansdowne Library buildings are closed 
  • Fines for checked out items are suspended
  • Interlibrary loan requests for digital articles are still begin processed; loans of books are not currently available.
  • U-Pass - An optional June 1 to August 31 U-Pass is available to both currently enrolled students and those who were registered in the previous winter semester. The cost is $70 and can be ordered through the Student Society online store. Contact upass@camosunstudent.org for questions and concerns.
