What is a Living Library?

A living or human library is an event where you can check-out a person as a living book for a short discussion. Rather than reading, you can talk with the living book/person face to face, and learn from their story.

Camosun's 2nd Living Library is part of the Student Employment Festival and features living books/people in various employment fields.

If you are a Camosun Student or Camosun Alumni and you are interested in learning about different careers, curious about successful job paths, or just like to meet people, then visit the living book links above and check-out a living book.

When: Sept. 28, 2011, 9:00am - 11:00am and 1:00pm- 3:00pm

How: Read the various living book biographies and book an appointment (maximum 4 books per student/alumni):

Living Books - Morning

Living Books - Afternoon

Where: Camosun College Library Lansdowne Campus
Alan Batey Library & Learning Commons
