Open Education Resources (OER) include textbooks, course readings and other teaching and learning content available online at little or no cost.
These resources are produced by libraries, universities, government agencies, archival organizations and individuals, and can be used, reused and modified depending on how they have been licensed by the creator of the content.
Thank you to Red River College for providing the template for this guide.
Make sure to look closely at the licensing terms of a specific open education resource before reusing or repurposing it in a teaching or learning environment.
MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are courses anyone can enrol in and take via the web in support of life-long, networked learning. The following are MOOCs that are currently being offered or that have been recently completed yet remain online for independent review and learning.
